    strangely i almost only use my legacy chocobo... and use my GC chocobo when i level it.

    ^This. I pretty much ride my Legacy chocobo exclusively, although sometimes I switch to my magitek armour instead (and now also occasionally Fat Chocobo, but only to hear the awesome remix of the FFIV Fat Chocobo theme music when riding him ). My other mounts I only have for collecting purposes, although I'm still kicking myself I never bothered grabbing the 1.0 gobbue mount when it was available (sure there's the Laurel gobbue, but it's not the same) - I just hated gobbues in FFXI and couldn't stand the thought of riding one as a mount. Now though....
