Stop making tank,healer, and dps sets for both tanks/heals/dps, please give a separate set for warriors, a separate set for paladins, a separate set for white mage, a separate set for scholars, a separate set for black mage, and a separate set for summoner.. my main reason for this, is so that both classes can have thier beneficial stats without having to sacrifice for the other class, like healer gear with critical but no determination something a scholar would go after and a white mage would feel lacking or a paladin stuck with critical something a warrior would find beneficial. please try in the future to do this it would be extremely helpful and i think something alot of people would like. not to mention it cripples glamour/vanity uniqueness between these classes

They do offer this, with the AF sets (which we're getting another of in 2.3)

But for now you'll have to mix-match, they're very aware of what they're doing in terms of shared gear sets.

i highly doubt that with the stats they are giving especially for tanks because they a really bad same for healers white mages were basically gimped out of det for crit on almost all the body gear

I'm really not sure why people have an obsession with getting full sets. I really don't see anything wrong with mixing and matching, especially since there's no set bonus like some games offer.

its not the that there is a need for a set its so that a paladin can have thier own beneficial stats and a war thiers even whn u mix/match as of now in 2.2 tanks a gimped with alot of crit something tht is not really needed since they are not dps, best thing for tanks is high parry and acc, det is gd too but crit is all but useles

I have to agree... Every Single DD got their own gear Set (except BLM/SMB) But tank and healers have only one to Share. Im both, WHM and SCH. I would like to Focus on different stats, but this is not with this options.
And...im a girl... So... I want them to look different XD. Even with Vanity System or not, i dont want my WHM looking the same as my SCH.

ty for sayin blm/smn i conpletely forgot about that. although i belive thier stats are gd i do see where it is bad but all in all each class deserves thier on set and for the most part i think se needs to stop movin around the stats so dam much, jus stick with the stats that work for each class, (pld, parry acc det,) (war parry acc crit,) (sch crit det) (whm Det piety ss) (smn crit det acc) (blm crit ss acc) if they did that it would make things less of a pain in the ass. and the vanity a big thing too forgot to mentin in my op thnx >.<

That's exactly my point though. Why do you feel there is a need for a clean-cut cookie-cutter type set? This gear in this game is already about as linear and bland as it gets. For example, it's not even like crit is a bad thing on WHM, it's simply not optimal. I see trade-offs as a good thing; even now, if you look at the healer subsection, there is still some debate about balancing all the stat increases with the decreases in PIE.

Now, if you were complaining about how alternative pieces are obtained (e.g. most WHM BiS DET gear coming from Coil and nowhere else while SCH gets a free ride), then I would agree.

crit is not a bad thing i do agree with you on that but crit is more beneficial towards sch while on whm it is not, det is reliable for both classes but it works more for whm. and anyways all gear in every game is cookie cutter/bland its how it is and will always be, no need to ruin the stats while they are at it. if it works it works why fix somethin that isnt broken u know, it just sounds like u want it to be difficult whn it shouldnt, thats why we got raids raids should be difficult not the gear
