    Anyone with both the PC and PS4 version of the game unable to logon to PS4 client?

    As of today, I'm no longer able to logon to my FFXIV account from PS4. I keep getting the same message "No valid or active service account is available to play FFXIV: ARR." I had the early access code registered, and now just registered the key for the retail copy. I would put this in technical support, but I see people with similar problems getting no where due to lack of response. I'm able to logon to the PC version just fine, this is very frustrating.

    I also want to note that I have 2 service accounts on the Mogstation, I've had them there ever since registering my account back in 1.0. I'm wondering if it's trying to automatically logon to the first service account which is inactive. I don't know why it would all of the sudden be doing this, but who knows.

    Any help would be much appreciated, thank you!

    Shamefully a PC version Retail key wil not allow you to log into the console client, you would need to purchase the ps4 retail box from the store and input that Key(make sure you select your PC Version service account) to get access to your console client, unless you already had a retail ps3 key registered, in that case you can freely upgrade.

    Almost seems like you haven't paid your subscription. That's the only time i've ever seen that message come up.

    That message also pops up when there isn't an valid Key tied to the service account for the desired platform . Square could have made it a bit more clear if you ask me.

    A pc version only allows play on a pc
    A ps3 version only allows play on a ps3(free upgrade to ps4 atm)
    A ps4 version of the game only allows play on ps4.

    You need both a PC and PS 3 or 4 key to be able to play on consoles and PC.

    Yeah this is not like FFXI. SE wants their money. You have to buy a copy of the game for every platform you want to play it on.

    I bought a hard copy of it, not sure if I'm registering it right. Mog Station tells you to do it on PSN, PSN says to put in a 12 digit code, but the game came with a 20 digit code. Also went to the website it says on the paper and registered it there members.square-enix.com/na but it still says no valid service account. Can log ont PS3 and PC just fine.

    At the risk of sounding repetitive, you're positive you have a PS4 copy of the game that you're trying to register? The PS4 copies should come with the 12 digit code instead of 20. My wife's also came with a code for something else (I think some general registration, not the actual game registration); may want to make sure you're using the right one there.

    Something that many 1.0 players overlook in this situation. They never double and triple check which service account they put the key on, because it does ask. You might want to check.

    I tried to log in to the game just the other day, but I was getting that same message. I checked my e-mail and found that SE could not charge my card. I checked my bank account online and found everything was okay. I called my bank, and this is what I was told:

    From what I could understand from the brief phone call I made, there is fraud going on in certain areas of the USA (I'm not sure if you live in the USA), such that many people were losing lots of money. To combat that, my bank (and according to her, other banks as well) is freezing transactions to those affected states. I asked her when this started, and she told me they started freezing these online transactions Tuesday of this week. That would be 4-15-2014. I asked her how long it could take for things to return back to normal, and she said it could take months.

    I later went back online to my bank's site and saw a message in red for those who are doing transactions in California and New York to call a certain toll-free number.

    Note: I don't recall the details. I just added words such as 'freeze' and the like, because that's all I could recall.

    You might want to call your bank and see if this is the case.
