Lightbulb Offering the ability to buy and sell in-game subscriptions to fight RMT

As of recently i decided to take a look at a new mmo that is set to be coming out soon, Wildstar. Their business model is one where players rl money can buy a sub that can be sold in-game to other players. This sub is purchased using rl funds from the company and sold for in-game currency.

This would create a market wherein the reliance on rmt by players, who don't have the time/energy/willingness, would shift to regular players who don't have the real world cash flow but have the time/energy to acquire copious amounts of Gil.

    tl;dr:

I propose we create a system where one can purchase the subscription item from square that has the ability to change hands a single time. This item can be bought and sold on the market but once it enters the new inventory it would be locked to the character/account.

Doing so would help destroy the RMT market in this game that has consistently helped to ruin the economy.

Well, slight problem with this. What about the third category?

The people who dont have the time/energy/willingness to farm for hours, but have a real world cash flow.

If they can, for instance buy 30 days of subscription off the Marketboards for 10 mil gil, and the RMT offer 10 mil gil cheaper then the €12,99 it currently costs to subscribe, you essentially are screwing Square Enix out of someone paying them for a subscription...

Not to mention the alternative option of RMT simply buying a subscription with real life money, selling that on the markets for Gil, and having gil to sell to other people illegally without needing to farm for it.

It seems to me that no matter how you look at it, the RMT are getting more business and SE is actually getting less business out of this.
