Glamour Matching Woes

Matching colors.

I can't for the life of me match white-dyed gear with AF or other unique equipment. Snow white dye stands out too much as eggshell compared to PLD AF, Foestriker white etc.

Another thing that bothers me are the gloss textures. Examples would be Cobalt Cuirass, PLD AF and Toxotes Tunic. It's pretty hard to match those when other equipment can't be dyed to metallic like those.

Agreed matching equip is a real pain, doubly so when you considering there is no preview for gear on the MW.

Yeah I know what you mean. I've been trying to think of a good shield to match with Lightnings blade.

This has been incredibly frustrating for me as well. There are many 'kinda close' colors, but no clear matches for most of the unique and holiday gear. Even soot black isn't as dark of a black used in many pieces. I really hope SE will consider going back to look at past equipment and add dyes that better match and compliment those pieces so we can create more composed glamours.

IIRC, this will only affect future gear sets. Existing gear in-game atm will remain the same when dyed.
