Who do I need to petition to get an animation where you angrily push your workbench over in a fit of rage of continued failed synthesis attempts?

I get so sick of hitting synthesize 3 or 4 times when I know there is no possible way of finishing the synth (yes I know you get a few extra SP if you're closer to completion). I'd rather just stop right there and start a new synth. I think it'd stop me from breaking my keyboard if I could see my character getting angry (on my 4th keyboard since I started crafting), stopping and getting up to /angry is not a viable option.

While some of what I've said is obviously meant as a joke - I seriously think this would spice things up and provide some comic relief to the frustration I feel from constant mini explosion sounds / seeing my completion bar at 24% and my durability at 43.

You should try harder to finish those. Sometimes you can pull out amazing stuff. LS mate told us he was almost in tears mid-synth when working with our Uraeus Skin +3, but he managed to pull it out with 1 durability left and got the +2 leather too ...So don't give up before the synth is done.

But yes, knocking over the little bench would be a great emote!

Instead of a dangit - ala Prufrock from those FFXI spoofs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_m3f_...eature=related. What's the difference between a tisp and a tibisp!?

I haven't gotten to the point where I'm dealing with heavy stuff. Mostly just doing Locals. When I do get to a point (like when I had to make my Birdsbeak Hammer) that I'm making something I care about, I usually do give the craft my all, and would never want to "'!%#@ THIS GAME' it" lol. That's amazing that your friend pulled that off though - AND with a +2 to boot. Way to press on!

That's why I love "Hand of the Gods" skill. Save my ass many many times lol

just keep on trying its worth it sometimes! o.o couple times i get like less than 5 durability left over and complete like a good 1-2 rounds.

Like Superpatch mentioned, get hand of the gods for situations like these. It will save your rear a lot. Another good one is assemble and/or mass production, can really save the day sometimes. Also, while rare, sometimes you can super succeed on a synth turn and incur no durability loss at all with a large jump in progress. I've had it happen back to back a couple times and saved a synth that was going south.
