    What Do Next?

Alrighty, so I'm sure you've all seen similar threads in the past, but I'm currently at work and don't have time to search through them to post this, so let me start off by saying "sorry" for a sure-to-be redundant thread.

All right! End game! Pretty stoked! But I'm a little confused as to what I need to START doing and what my progress should look like. Here are a few stats that may let you guys know where I am.

Brayflox, Copperbell, Haukke Manor, Ifrit, and Halatali Hardmodes all unlocked, but have attempted none yet.
Have done all Hildibrand quests up to "Battle on the Big Bridge". Have not attempted it yet.
Have moved the Scions to Mor Dohna.
Have accepted the "relic reborn" quest.
Have unlocked "Labyrinth of Ancients". Have not attempted.

Also, iLevel is at a flat 50.

Also I have tier 2 of Kobold quests unlocked and have 350 myth and 10 Solidery tomes. So basically I have a ton of Duty's unlocked, but have no idea where to start. So my question is, what do I need to be doing? And what order do I need to do it in?

As always, thanks for any and all help everyone!

Get to max rank in your GC if you haven't, and unlock Wanderer's Palace and Amdapor Keep. (You've also got Pharos Sirius and Lost City of Amdapor to unlock according to your list.)

I'd suggest either getting your GC weapon or buying a weapon off the market boards (depending on your funds). There are weapon drops on the HM dungeons and primals, but those are a matter of luck. GC seals are not that hard to come by, so the GC weapon is an easy upgrade to starter gear.

From there, it's kind of a matter of just taking things on in the order of their minimum iLevel. You could probably get through the Chimera and Hydra parts of the relic quest as a DPS with the gear you have now, since a good chunk of overgeared players are going to be in there with you thanks to Trial Roulette.

IMO, it's something roughly like WP and AK --> Ifrit HM --> CT (only because you can blend into the crowd so much) --> Copperbell/Haukke/Pharos Sirius HM --> Moggle Mog HM/Garuda HM --> Halatali/Brayflox/Lost City HM --> Titan HM --> Ultima HM. That's the order of difficulty, IMO, not the order of iLevel (Moggle Mog drops slightly better weapons than Garuda, but IMO, they're the same-ish difficulty).

Grab whatever gear you can along the way, upgrade via Myth tokens when it seems like a good idea, work on your relic as you can. Once you unlock the end game roulettes, do those to supplement your tokens. Low Level roulette gives bonus tokens if you're level 50, and story roulette as well; whether the time investment is worth it is up to you (personally, I save Low Level for classes I'm actually leveling, and can't stand story roulette anymore unless I'm really desperate for tomes). If you try something, and you're not getting it down, just grind something lower until you get some upgrades, then try again.

I do things in a completely different order, still never even set foot in several of the 50 dungeons.

I usually buy some of those i55 wolf accessories since they're pretty cheap (at least on my server) as well as the base weapon my relic needs and dive right into CT. It's easy to clear, and with so many people your low gear shouldn't matter a whole lot. It drops awesome armor and a nice pile of myth tomes. Once I get the armor I jump into ifrit HM and farm for a weapon. Once I get an Ifrit weapon, I go start my relic quest. You have to give up the base weapon in the quest so I sequence break a little here by doing Ifrit first, so I have something to use until I finish the relic. I go straight through the quest to grab my relic and immediately upgrade it to zenith with the tomes I got from CT, with that gear I would jump into the newer hard modes to get the darklight accessories to replace the crap I bought as well as a good amount of soldiery tomes.

This way is a lot more of a rush through content. But, I don't feel the need to do the basic 50 instances for gear with how easy CT is. Though you'll need to do everything at least once to get your roulettes unlocked anyway. Bixby's suggestion is probably the smarter way to go about it.

But that's just my two cents on what I do when I get to 50 on a class, even when I got my first 50.

I disagree with Bixby on one thing though. Titan HM is so not easier than Brayflox/Halatali/Lost City HM, especially if you're using duty finder. Try and get a premade group for Titan HM when doing your relic quest and hopefully save yourself a big headache. If you get stuck on Titan, because a lot of people do, go do Bray/Hala/Lost City and ugprade your accessories. And go try it again. Don't beat your head against the wall on Titan, make sure you're having fun :P

Thank you both so very much for your suggestions. I feel like I at least have some ideas for a starting point now and a general plan for the future! Again, thanks!

Y'know, you're right. Dunno what I was thinking. Ficksed.

As a general thing, I feel like endgame is really murky now. In 2.0 and 2.1 it felt like progression was a lot clearer, and it was easier to suggest a list of stepping stones. There's so much overlap now, and such a range of available players (iLevel and experience) that it's just feels like a big, soupy mess. You jump into whatever you can and if you succeed, great, if not, try again or try something else.

Not saying it's better or worse. Just totally can't blame anyone for feeling lost when they hit 50.

To combine what the two posters said above, I think that what follows will be your absolute quickest way to gear up:

1 - Unlock all of the end-game dungeons, which include: Wanderer's Palace, Amdapor Keep, Haukke Manor HM, Copperbell Mines HM, Pharos Sirius, Halatali HM, Brayflox HM, Ruins of Amdapor.

2 - Run each of those one time, to unlock your Duty Roulettes

3 - If you have not gained item level 55 and an item level 55 weapon at this point, purchase some gear with seals, or run some dungeons to obtain more gear.

At this point, you are ready to grind out some tomes and gear, and I would suggest you do these things each day in the following priority order:
    1 - Expert Roulette
    2 - High Level Roulette
    3 - CT

Expert Roulette gets you 70 Sol 50 Myth, HL Roulette, gets you something like 90 Myth 10 Sol, and CT gives you 100 Myth 10 Sol (I THINK, could be 80/20 though?) Along the way, you will pick up i70 armor/accessories from experts, i55-i60 armor from high levels, and i80 armor from CT.

If at any point you get bored of doing those things, start your relic. You must kill Chimera, Amdapor Keep, Hydra, Ifrit HM, Garuda HM, and Titan HM. Back in the day, i69 was kind of the minimum to get into a Titan HM group. Nowadays you get can away with less, but I would recommend you at least make an attempt to get there so that you don't feel stressed while challenging him.

Spend your Mytho tomes willy nilly - upgrade your worst piece every time you get enough Myth to do so, if you have any semblance of luck, you will be somewhere around i75 by the time you finish your Relic if you do CT enough, which should be enough for you to start learning The Binding Coil of Bahamut, which drops i90 armor and accessories, as well as giving 20myth 10sol for about 15-20 minutes of work in a good group.

That all being said - try everything once, and do what feels like you are making progress but having fun. CT will be great for you - I'd recommend you at least try to fall in love with that place, although with all of the rude people in there, you should come in with thick skin! Remember that that person telling you you suck...is a jerk!

I actually quite like it like that. I can just go jump into whatever I want. There's always people to run stuff with and I'm not bound to a single path to get through it. It feels less like a step by step chore, and more of a, it doesn't matter what you do just go do it, have fun and still make progress. You only get lost if you look for a path that isn't there.

Just to throw my 2 cents again on Ehaytes suggestion. Id say spend Myth tomes "willy nilly" after upgrading your relic (which takes 900). Weapon damage is usually a top priority when gearing up. Chances are accessories will be where you'll be weakest, and accessories just so happen to give the least amount of stats.

Plus, Darklight accessories from running hard modes, zenith weapon, and CT armor is more than enough to jump into Coil.

Thanks so much for the advice! I do tend to get somewhat discouraged when people start slinging negativity my way, especially when it's something like CT that I've never even attempted before. But thanks for the heads up and I'll do my best to have thick skin lol. And I'll definitely keep you in mind if I have questions in-game!
