Can't use Companions. Not sure why.

So, like the title says. I haven't played the game in awhile, and I just did the PS3 to PS4 upgrade and started playing when I noticed I can't access my companions, a PvP Profile, nearly all of the Logs and so on.

I think it's because I don't have a subscription set up, but I don't know for sure. In fact, I thought I had to have a subscription to play in the first place. I've been gone for quite some time, and after searching for over an hour on information, I found nothing saying that you can play without a subscription, so I'm not even sure how I'm playing right now...

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,

From what I see on lodestone you are level 16. your character in Lodestone

To be able to use mount you have to be lvl 20 AND have followed story quests that will unlock the mount. In fact you will have to buy a chocobo license. Once you have it you can use all mounts you have unlocked.

Afterwards (if they don't changed) you have to be lvl 28 or 30 to do a quest to have you chocobo as companion.

For the logs if you don't have access it is because you probably didn't follow story quests and some logs are tied to some classes. You don't have any disciple of the land or disciple of the hand class so gathering and crafting logs are locked.

as thaliss said u need to b around 30 to get the quest for companion fighting in south shroud if i remember right :3
