Moogle Companion Anybody?

I feel that first and foremost, this game has many good suits and bad. However; how fantastic would it be to have a personal moogle companion? I'm thinking similar to our current chocobo one. I'd love to see something like this implemented later. Shoot, maybe he/she/it can even raise you when you die trying to solo that gosh darn fate. What are your thoughts? Ninja Moogle!!!

Only if it can do quadruple jumps with a Pearl lance and Dragoon boots at the same time as a blond hair womanizer and a mime doing the exact same thing

Well, I believe I saw something saying that after they finish adding beast tribes, they would add more to the existing ones. Could make it interesting and have it so that the last rank makes it possible to have a companion of that race, with each race having a certain role and skills (instead of all 3 like chocobo, maybe pick 1-2 roles for these)

Thoughts:
Sylph - Magic/Healer
Amalja'a - Melee/Tank
Kobold - Melee/Magic
Sahagin - Magic/Melee (dont like having multiple with same combo, but can't think of many other)
Ixali - Melee/Heal

Would like a Tank Heal/Magic combo, since the others are covered, but cant think of a place to put it (maybe Kobold)

Would definitely like to see an expansion of the companion system. Either give it more functionality or more selection or both.
