Opening and Ending Actions Faster Than the Animation Sounds

The inability to turn down the background/environmental sounds made it impossible not to mute the game entirely, when trying to also have something different going on, on a second screen.

Yep, I turned mine off for the same reasons as Purplenv.

I love multi-tasking. Multiple moniters ftw! I do the same though, I kill the game volume and jam netflix or surf web on other screen. Speaking of which, I recall having FFXIV crash when in full screen mode, every time I clicked on the other moniter to surf the web. Why does that happen. I cant try it out to see if they remedied it because Im 5000 mile away from my beautiful PC ; ;

Yeah I dual monitor myself, multi-tasking hehe. Always nice to have the ability to do that.
