joined the trial roulette, after 1 wipe (lack of dps),ppl were talking about wiping on purpouse to get the echo buff , 2nd try at p2 > some1 called out for wipe (no1 was dead at the time) and ppl just jumped off to their deaths.

they were talking about wiping more until echo was at 50%......thats mean 15 min wiping on purpouse.

thats how the game is going to work now? , not even trying , just wiping and wiping until u max the echo then faceroll the boss?

there was a first timer , good 1 experience

I have the total opposite, people are always trying their best and not wiping on purposed. I see less people try to leave after a couple of wipe. Before with Echo Buff one fight and they would leave if you don't win it. Also, I thought Echo Buff only go up to 25% Max? I think the reason they put it there so people don't just Quit right away when they do those Primal Fight. It also for people who aren't hardcore to catch up. This are old contents, so I don't understand what you are complaining about.

There is plenty of hard mode there for you without Echo Buff. Levi Extreme, Moogle Extreme, New Coil of Bahamut, Turn 5 is still decent Challenged, etc.

The echo buff for the Binding Coil is a flat value, of 10%, that will be increased up to 30% in the future.

For the trials and other areas where it has been applied, the value is 10% per wipe, up to a cap of 50%.

But yes. While I can see some people wanting to abuse it or expecting a free pass from it, it does have a surprisingly reinforcing feeling to any group that's legitimately trying to clear something. "Okay, we got this far without echo - so not only will we do better from experience but we'll have a bit of an advantage, let's stick with this we can get it."

It's 10% per wipe up to 50% for Hydra, Chimera, and HM primals (except for Leviathan). It's 5% per wipe up to 25% for Ultima's Bane and XM Garuda, Titan, and Ifrit.
