Echo is a lazy way to implement making content easier. Fights like Titan it doesn't help much and Ifrit it can end up hurting you. For fights like coil though echo makes it a cake walk.
Even worse in coil we get auto-echo from the 1st min and if I click it off people will vote-kick me...
