I've never seen anything like that on Tonberry thou.

People on my side are so geared these days that of the roulette (trails) I did, I've seen one healer fell immediately after heart and the other healer just solo healed for the rest of the fight. Another time 2 DPS were dead or fell IDK, just saw them at 0HP for the rest of the fight and left me and another melee to kill Titan off.

No wipes, just one-shot, despite all these.

Maybe a 100% boosts to stats could see some people catch up on the old raids and extreme primals. For a lot of people, something like Aurum Vale or Pharos Sirius pushes them to the limit. There is a huge gulf in difficulty between those dungeons and the coil raids. Unless you are privileged enough to be in an elite FC, the raids and ex primals still feel like a very distant goal for people relying on random parties.
If you need a 100% buff. This game just isnt for you.

you can PF all primals now reletively easy. All you need is to get past the high ilvl requirement everyone wants which now is easy thanks to mytho farming.

as for DF, some people use that for practice. So generally if you que for something challanging, expect to wipe alot.

Or maybe you can start a learning PF. Only issue i see is not having enough free time to get a raid group together.

Not talking about myself, I am fine with the mechanics of the duty I entered into, it was other people who couldn't get the hang of the fight. Getting a random team of people who can clear the most difficult content in the game has very low odds. You can be almost sure a DF team will beat any dungeon, but for raids it's not the case even with a modest echo buff. I think only a small percentage of the playerbase has cleared binding coil and progressed to second coil, so saying people should stop playing if they need a very large buff is saying almost everyone should leave the game. I think about 3 or 4 people in my main linkshell with 120+ members has beaten twintania.

I didnt mean you in specific XD

sorry about that but yeah. Drama finder for challenging content and expecting to clear is a no go.

Opening a party finder and just replacing the ones who die constantly, that will help alot for hard stuff.

It can take a really long, sometimes unreasonable amount of time for party finder slots to be filled. Duty finder across all worlds/servers is faster but leads to a less than 1% chance of beating difficult content. So I don\\'t think there\\'s a perfect solution for those not in elite FCs. I think yoshi said he will monitor things once the full echo buffs have been applied and see how people are doing. My guess is the majority of people will not have beaten old content still. Back to the original point of the thread, people die repeatedly on purpose for stacking echo buffs because they are really having that hard of a time. Having said that, I don\\'t think ex primals lead anywhere important so it\\'s not necessary to down them. Arguably you could say the same about coils. It\\'s story content but doesn\\'t stop your progress in the ongoing main scenario.

I have listed a tank in the trial roulette daily since 2.2 went live and I have never encountered anyone trying to get echo on purpose. Most runs would do the best they can. I do not see or share in the OP argument or have these issues he must have faced. Consider it something that must not be much of a problem.

not seeing the problem here, people that cleared the raids pre 2.2 is already done with it. The echo buff gives you a significant margin of error, that doesn't mean you can just faceroll the content without any raid awareness, i think it's fine as it is. People can choose to utilize it and win, it's designed to be abused, if people still can't win with it then it's time to re-evaluate your future with this game. Get good and apply to an endgame FC, it's just like in XI where if you want to go further in terms of character progression and development you'll have to go with a group of likeminded and committed people.

The game is specifically designed to be easy.
It is specifically designed for casual players.

The buff is designed to even further help casual players who do not have time to try and try the content so they can catch up. It was designed so that new people to the game do not feel they are a year behind everyone else, but rather, can catch up quickly.

People need to base their observations on the very premise: This game was specifically designed to be easy and accessible to casual players.

(And in this sense, casual includes those who do not have the time to learn/optimize their equipment/skills to win battles).

Once you accept that, you can then enjoy the game as it was meant to be enjoyed:
Pretty graphics, pretty music, lovely scenery, nice story lines.

this is the problem with SE not understanding if you allow people to do it they will do it to the extreme.
they should just let you start with the max buff or take it away.

i been pretty lucky in coil winning on the first try just failing on drops. coil is not in anyway shape or form hard just pay attention.

    It was made for both.

    content for casuals and hardcore.

the problem we are having now is casuals wanting to do hardcore content without the skill needed to atually do it.
