    Atma's name

    I was wondering why the name of the atmas are not the name used for the real zodiac signs? (ie maiden instead of virgo)

    I know the french localization use the zodiac signs' name . Is there some past backgroung as to why the English localization is this way?

    Because the less-than mature players on the NA servers would see Virgo and go "heehee that looks like virgin."

    Libra? A spell name in the FF spell set.

    Conflict resolution in nomenclature might be why.
