PS4 Early Access Transition

I originally purchased the PS3 collector's edition digital version during that wonderful sale a while back with the intention of upgrading to the PS4 version. I later decided to buy the PS4 physical CE for the physical content and planned to sell the product code. (I already have the game, I just wanted the extra stuff)

I used the early access code emailed to me by Square and have run into no issues. I have not officially made the transition to the PS4 version, however. The early access ended yesterday and it seems my account "seemlessly transitioned, with no interruption," as it was supposed to. The early access and physical product codes are different. I will make the official transfer as needed.

I need to know if I'm in the clear to sell this code. I don't want to sell it if it doesn't work, and I don't need a second PS4 version. I'm 90% sure everything is well, but I don't want to accidentally scam somebody.

I have more or less the same question as you jonwins.

I was on the early beta on the ps4 so i had the game already downloaded and decided to purchase the collectors edition (mainly for the extra content codes). When i put the ps4 disc in it comes up with "disc not readable, game already downloaded, please delete game and re install to use disc version" (something like that). Iv used my code that came with the collectors bundle for the behemoth mount/ chocobo mount etc and i am playing the game with no problems.

I too am wondering if i can sell the registration code that came with my physical copy as i havent touched it and it could benefit someone else. I could even sell the copy of the game with it as FF seems to boot up fine without it (sounds like i am on the digital version).

From what I looked at before, people don't need the disc at all, no matter what version they got, but I could be wrong. It's just faster than downloading.

If anyone can even confirm that I could enter the code as if I were going to use it, then back out without actually using it, that would help. It'd basically be a way to check if it's still usable.
