I had this happen last night. Zoned into Halatali HM and tank just left. The SMN got out Titan and tanked up to the 2nd boss before we got a replacement.

It's frustrating! I'm trying hard to level my BLM, but it's as if I can't with the way the duty finder has been. I feel really bad for people that are just starting out.

Side note: just had it happen to me for the eleventh time today...

It's frustrating. And it's not helped by the fact that even with the desertion debuff, the tank who dropped will frequently still wait less time than the dps to find a new group.

However, if you have cooperative FC or LS members, then you can ask them to join your instance with the Party in Progress box checked, and there's a decent chance that they'll end up with your group.

This makes me sad. I love Halatai HM. It's easy and quick once you know the tricks to tanking it. I've yet to have a group of any configuration fail. The ball chain debuffs give you some nice numbers, mistakes are easy to recover from even with random people and I've yet to have any one complain about being there.
