There's a difference between a 90k at entrance and straight out leaving. If you 90k, you remain in party, but appear offline. They fixed the error that kicks you from the party when you log in after getting a 90k. It's more for people who outright leave.

I had a healer drop out of Thousand Maws Normal saying "Please kick me" at the very start. I'm like, no, and dropped immediately, even though I get a 30 minute lockout.
so whats the point of this story?
You quit first, so the real quitter has no penalty..![]()
Sorry for the jinx! At least we'll be vaguely known as the random adventurer on that fateful day they earned a weapon by laying on the ground for ten minutes. We will be honored in our own way as they get into coil and take snake tail swipes and die. We made that happen. We made that possible.

What I truly hate is soon as you enter dungeon after a good 40min wait as Blm, Tank either pulls their internet cord or Alt+F4 to force a DC. Now we have to ait 5 min to boot them and pray for a replacement, or wait 15 min to abandon. This has been happening quite often, and it's beyond irritating.
From other people's point of view, I look like a monster. I'm a stupid woman who imagines she can create a happy life by piling up her sins

As a healer, if I roulette and get an Amdapor I will state that I suck at marking doors, and ask if anyone else is decent at it. If someone is, great! But if I get no response (sadly, the most common), or they all say that they suck at it too ( the second most common), or "That's okay, we'll wing it!', I will say "Sorry, I don't think we'll be able to complete this dungeon. Better luck next time." and leave to farm atmas.
In this situation I don't believe I'm in the wrong, as it's quite obvious that the assembled party lacks an integral willing component to complete the dungeon.
How can someone suck at marking doors?
Lemme explain:
You need exactly 2 Marks.
Open doors and while you are traveling through the void you will see the color of the doors again, mark the next two.
If you understand the above and still don't do it, the fault is with you.

Mostly because I have medically related issues with short term memory and timed memory games like that are my bane. I have almost perfect long term, though.
So yeah, the fault is with me...
...and with everyone else who flat out refuses to do it.
Which is why i leave the party in this case. I get 30 min downtime to do something else, and they get a chance to be carried through by someone else. I view it as win-win in this case.

Point is you still get a sort of penalty especially if you're DPS and the queue is long.
Sad story, whatever, but you gotta be aware it's just that SE made a system that encourages it.
you quoted my response to that statement:
