...and smart phones outclass each other every month. Where is the basis? I Like consoles because I know I'm getting a quality game without the hassle of manually installing and making sure the software works, assuming it passes the benchmark. Plus I don't have to wait 1-never months just to play a game when it releases and I don't have to spend over 1k just to make sure I get the best possible experience.

That doesn't negate my comment that the PS4 in OPs room is hardly "the future." You are perfectly entitled to being satisfied without "the best possible experience." I'm not suggesting that. Just correcting the notion that dated hardware in a shiny box is "the future."

Real futuristic when phones being released this year already outclass the consoles.

Umm, nVidia wa just recently boasting about their mobile graphics that will outlcass the Xbox 360 and PS3, which are both getting pretty close to 10 years old. I would be very surprised to see any smart phones coming close to the current consoles any time soon, let alone this year.

?? It's the same game regardless of what you play it on...don't need to use M&K, I use a 360 controller myself.
