What are "dailies"

I watch a lot of Twitch streams of the game and a lot of streamers say " i'm doing my dailies", this may seem like an extremely noobish question, but what exactly are dailies, and how can i do them ?

They most likely refer to daily beast tribe quest which is a daily quest you get after level 43. It allows you to gain gil daily, as well as build up reputation with each beast tribe which resulting in ability to purchase certain items, most often the mounts.

Dailies refer to several features in the game that are refreshed daily. Whether or not you complete them, you can earn extra xp, gil, and allagan tomes (endgame token currency) by finishing these tasks. First are the roulettes, which are random dungeon runs starting at Lv.18. The daily beastman quests, available starting at Lv.42, are a collection of repeatable quests chosen randomly. You can do up to 6 beastman quests per day.

There are a few other things that reset daily or close to it (you get leve allowances every 12 hours, and GC supply missions reset daily), but most people talking about dailies mean one of the two things already mentioned.
