Angry Why can't I unlink a SEN ID from my Square Enix ID?!? Can't play on PS4 now.

I'm being told by support it's Impossible to do. They said that once done, you can never add another SEN ID...this...seems...broken.

My PS3 copy of FFXIV was linked with a sub account (I didn't even know it was a sub account at the time) So when I purchased a PS4 I had to start using the master account to use all the features and functionality of the PS4 (Share, vita etc)

So as it stands right now I can't log into FFXIV on the PS4 because it is linked to the sub and they claim there is no way to over ride this.

I also asked if they could clone my account, or cancel my PS3 entitlement...they claim nothing is possible...I've purchased THREE copies of this game and trying to buy a FOURTH...and they don't want to offer me any help.

Sounds like an issue similar to mine, if I am reading correctly. I have a sub account from the 1.0 days I registered the PS3 version to, because I felt like having my primary on PC, sub on the lesser platform, but now that I can play it on PS4, I would like to be able to use my primary on said PS4 platform. I don't even really use my sub account anymore, after all.

I assume you've tried submitting a ticket through https://support.na.square-enix.com/c...82&la=1&daxx=1 ? I've been reticent to use that form, as I am unsure of what it means by permanently disabling the account. If they're still denying you access with that submitted, looks like I won't have much hope either, which is rather disappointing. I too purchased 3 copies of the game already, the 1.0 CE, 1.0 standard, and PS3 CE, I really don't see why I must be nickel and dimed to get another copy just to play the desired account on PS4.

Sounds like its more of a Sony problem: https://support.us.playstation.com/a...ZsalBSbA%3D%3D

Once a subaccount is created, it cannot be changed to a master account even if the account holder becomes older than 18 years old.
This has to be the most broken thing I have ever heard. I never even knew there was such a thing as "Sub Accounts" when it came to PSN.

This has nothing to do with the sub account on Sony's side, the issue is Square Enix will not allow you to remove one linked Playstation Network and replace it with another.
