You get an experience bonus (known as the "Armoury Bonus") of up to 50% when leveling another class. The amount of experience bonus you get is based on the difference between the class you are currently leveling and the level of your highest class.

It's a flat 50% as long as your current level is less than your highest level. There's no variation in percentage.
