I'll disagree with this one. I've been farming the heck out of leviathan since he's been released. Many, many occasions I've been targeted by the whirlpool/bomb things as melee dps.

Never seen it, even with dead heals. One dead heal has always just had one go off on the living one for me.

EDIT: And this is the whirlpool thing while DPSing stuff, not the thing that causes Heavy during Dives (that can target anyone I think, even the tanks; I know I've had it target me when I MTed, haven't OTed and am not paying attention to who it targets when I heal)
