Isn't this basically what GW2 did? Every class can DPS, heal, and most can tank..?Thing is while it was OP it was actually le gasp fun to play as. Much more fun than the weak shell of itself it is now that feels like it does far too little damage with that giant axe it uses. If instead of nerfing everything to death for the sake of "balance" they would balance everything by making something powerful and then buffing everything else to be in line with it and then buffing all the enemies to compensate, the classes would be more fun to play and we may actually get some fun and challenging fights in the game for once.
I like my trinity... but I do think steps should be taken to balance the ratios...
As a tank I wouldn't mind extra dps slots in the hard modes of content. Why does it have to be only 4 or 8 to make a party anyway.

I gave up leveling my tank because I found it too stressful having to know the complete in and outs of every dungeon. I actually find healing much easier than tanking, since my mechanics become "heal when bars are low, don't stand in AoE circles." As a tank it's know when to move the boss, know kill order, move out of aoe, remember which skills to interrupt/which you should pop cooldown on, etc. On top of that, you have people in DF being impatient with players still learning, and remind me why I want to play a tank? For a mount? Meh, I'd rather just enjoy playing my way.
