Hi,

Can anyone help me with PS4 UI scaling. So I know we can change the normal UI scaling by pressing R3. But for me the start screen is really big and somewhat blurry because it's not native 1080p I think
think. and the NPC balloon text is way too big and not HD because I use mouse and keyboard to play.

Is there any way to change the resolution of start screen and NPC text so I can make it smaller??

System Config > Display Settings > Default UI Size > 100% > Apply changes to all UI components > Apply All.

This should scale all windows to 100% size. After that simply head in to the HUD Layout and adjust accordingly to your preference.

That doesn't change the start screen nor the NPC pop-ups. Nothing changes those that I've noticed, and I've tried. Just have to learn to live with it.

Double-check your PS4 is actually outputting to 1080p. It sounds like you're stuck at 720p or less.

My PS4 outputting 1080p and in game it's in full HD. I hope SE will give us option to change the size of NPC balloon. I know some people want to make it bigger but I want to make it smaller

I made it that big and almost unbearable by playing with the settings. Under system configurations "Standard HD" does that. Went back to the check box "Full HD"

Check your PS4 display settings out the box mine set to Automatic and display 1080p for FF. Maybe you have to force it and check 1080p only.

Although it does nothing for the size I select my TV remote "format" button for an extra inch of screen.

exactly it's like i switch to standard HD and the NPC text balloon not changing back to full HD anymore, it's the same problem with the logout box, if u change it to very small and change it back to 100% then the logout box is still small. and you have to change it to small again and make it back again.

i haven't tried for the NPC text balloon but i will try it.

it seems there still lot of bug for UI in PS4. i hope SE read this and fix the problem, and for login page please make it full HD and not 720p, it's blurry. or it would be great if they make selection for full HD or standard HD in every element
