agreed. i started over in Jenova after trying out Leviathan first, and i prefer the more even playing field

Hi Jaydee. Curious what put you off from the Leviathan server. I'm new to MMOs myself & checked the game out during the beta period on PS4 w/o realizing there were new servers established for this new group. Really liked what I saw & love the feel of the game having been a fan of the series since its beginning. I have, however been wondering if I made a mistake in not registering on Jenova. I've leveled a bit though & they're not allowing world transfer to them - so would be loosing those efforts. I see you've started a free company - i've just joined one recently, but have not found much in the way of help exploring what they have to offer & many people seem to know each other and are at much higher levels resulting in my being unable to participate.

If you're new come to the best server which is.......
ADAMANTOISE. Just don't let me catch you killing our server's namesake in South Shroud. If you are caught you'll be banned and exiled to a low pop server to rot.

hi! apologies for the delayed response. while i've also had a fun experience in leviathan, and i was in a pretty chill FC (Elixir).. i didn't really feel like i belonged there. jenova to me feels perfect. like it's a whole new world ready for us to make it our own.. and not just follow what's already established, as was how i felt in leviathan. when i started over in jenova.. i felt at home.. most people were around the same level.. doing similar quests.. participating and helping each other learn the game along the way.. random team ups during a fate.. and the economy is something you can help mold. so in the end, deleting my lvl 15 character on leviathan is not a big deal at all anymore. i found a good group of friendly helpful people, and so we decided to make our own FC. i don't know if i would've had that same route if i was in leviathan. i prob would've just stayed in an already established FC, and my participation would've been less.

I'm curious about this. I will be getting a realm reborn tomorrow and would like to know if i should go with the new server or an old one. Will the new servers have a lot less people? and will the old ones have mostly non helpful players that shun the new?

I would like to be able to have lots of players doing the low level quests while I do and not be running around some empty wasteland that I feel the low level zones might be on the older servers?

No, the new serves have plenty of activity at least Jenova does. lot of people who got the PS4 version are on the new servers.

There will always be non helpful players but most are helpful. You will run into elitists on any server, even the new servers have some of those.

And info for those who have the question... Yes, new server are pretty pretty crowded, only that everyone is starting from scratch there.

new servers will end up doing all the same things that existing servers do, same speedruns same boss strats, in reality youre not going to help 'form the world' or anything, the difference really is that you have a chance to be one of the best equipped, have the most money, clear the first coil etc.
if those things matter to you, you need a new server

1-50 is gonna take maybe a month tops if you're not really trying, so if you're planning on playing for years its not really a problem joining an old server and sticking it out for a while

hi sadiie! what times do you usually log on? i'll be sure to keep a lookout. i'm usually on starting from 8pm EST and earlier on weekends. i'm also an archer who just turned bard, so i could help you along the way. our fc is a mix of newbie's also, but we also have higher levels/mmo vets that don't mind helping out our newcomers as well. it's a chill, casual, friendly, and helpful environment, so no worries about being new.
