I kind of feel on the fence about this.

I really want Garuda's Talons for vanity purposes, but have my Zenith, so I certainly don't need it. I have run that instance more times than I care to admit, and lost the roll the one time I did see them drop. Hypothetically, if I were in a group and there was another MNK that had Ifrit claws, or darklight, I would still roll need if they dropped. The same will happen if I ever see that damn Infantry Shirt. Outside of that, typically when I play as MNK, I roll greed on something that isn't an upgrade.

That said, there is a good chance that he didn't know you had DRG leveled, unless you stated otherwise prior to him rolling.

back on subject! I reported him and got an obviously automated response as it was loosely based on the actual issue but it did suggest this is a form of griefing and i have provided all the evidence they needed but they won't let me know the details of the actions taken. I can confirm he didn't get banned/suspended (not that i think he should) as he's still making party finder groups. I didn't examine him to see if he still had the item. I'll most likely do so if i run across him again but for the most part it's behind me. It's not that i feel it's that big of deal but i can't help thinking i got duped into a swayed roll had the drop been his shield i would have honored my words. I did in fact black list him and as far as i can tell SE doesn't take it seriously as someone in a shout mentioned how he ninja looted them after agreeing to pass. I'm sure the community will ban him before SE does lol.

just take waht u need if its a pug, if u are with fc mates u can trust them, but for pugs, meh, greed and need fastest u can, you have to think for u

Even if its a pug, they have to follow their own rules if they state them.
