The reason Summoner needs revamp threads keep popping up

Man, this again. Where is your evidence that most players think one way or another? I want to see some kind of proof. Most people this, most people that, and not a single stitch of anything to substantiate the claims. Seriously, if you ever want to anyone to take you seriously you need to either stop making claims on other people's behalf that you can't back and be realistic, or provide some damn proof.

The problem being that your quote source is wrong. It mentions FFVI, despite the fact that no summoners exist in that game.

Even with the Lore Square can't get around the fact that in the Summoner's job description they summon giant magical beasts translating it to an MMO would mean Summoner's would get a Elemental as a Permanent Pet which are the Egi's and the Summoner would have control over specific elemental damage based on which Egi is out. Also the Summoners should get an ultimate summon ability to summon the Primal temporarily.
The main difference between the Beast Tribe summoning the a primal and the Summoner summoning a primal is Beast Tribes worship and ask politely for the Primal to grace them with their presence the Summoner demands the Primal show up through their own magic.

So again, I ask how can you keep saying most people think something with no source of information to back it. This isn't about what you quoted from a wikia, it's about you constantly saying most don't like the job in it's current form, or most are dissatisfied with some aspect, or most would agree that it needs a revamp. How can you keep claiming most people think the job is not good as it is without any source to back your claim. As I've said a number of times there's no proof pointing to this being the case, and anecdotal evidence would show it's a vocal minority which is not "most", but merely a "few".

I don't want an overhaul. Its my fav DPS class, and once you get it down (which is very easy to do) its an amazing class and it never feels lacking or boring. Can't say the same for my BLM. Got it to lvl 38 but sitting in once place spamming fire, tranposing, ice repeat? just not for me. I could actually be on the computer and use my BLM successfully in a fate without even looking at the screen. I use it as my "lazy" class if im grinding a fate and don't feel like paying attention. I tried the others BRD being my second fave and MNK third. Noone should be arguing. SMN does incredibly DPS, doesn't use too much mp doing it, and to top it all off can raise in battle. If you ask me SMN is far more than what your normal DPS class is.

All I want is for any new pets to have more depth, and perhaps be designed better because Titan looks like a chicken mcnugget.

My only complaint about SMN is I wish the pets were more detailed. Otherwise the Job is awesome, imo.

Wrong Bombast in Final Fantasy VI anyone can become a Summoner by equipping an Esper just like in Final Fantasy XII and Final Fantasy XIII. Bombast you just proved my point about the Summoner they use summoning magic in all Final Fantasy titles to call down giant magical beast also the Summoner is paired with another class and in this game its paired with the Arcanist. The Summoner job should change the mechanics of the Arcanist like how the Scholar turns the Arcanist form a dps to a healer.

I concede that the Summoner doesn't complete revamp but the Pet does need to be more detailed and have better models. Also the Pets elemental attributes should come into play since they are the embodiment of their element.

You can't play it both ways, Akiza. Either Summoner applies to a multitude of types of classes, or its one thing only.
