    Coil Turns 6-9

    If there is one thing that is killing the game for me, it's the weekly lock outs. I don't understand why turns 6-9 had to be weekly lock outs. Why was it not given a loot lock out like Crystal Tower?

    It so frustrating that I can not catch up with my friends because of this. I was ecstatic when the weekly lock out was removed, I thought turn 6-9 would also be free to do at anytime. That however is not the case. Now all I can do is grind stupid soldiery tomes and the stupid atma books by myself.

    Why was it not given the loot lock out this way we can all enjoy at our own leisure? Why do I have to wait till 2.3+ for that to become unlocked and something even better comes out?

    Not this thread again. do a search, it has been discussed many times on the forums. Get a static, stop whining.

    The lockout is good, otherwise all other ppl gear their mains in about 2 months and get rid of RNG because you could run as often as you want. Furthermore, ppl would sell the new stuff once they are on farm.

    Wow, yeah, you're so right. People could have fun and play with all their friends, and we obviously don't want that. Instead lets separate them into statics and force some people to be left out entirely or to find an entirely new group of people to do Coil with. Because oh man, if people gear up too fast they might unsub!!! Or maybe if there was more content in the game to do besides Coil2 they wouldn't and the lockout is literally the only reason people are staying once they beat T9. That's not a good thing. At all.

    We are a 9man static. One sits out at a week and goes with another group if all 9 would have time, which isn't always the case and we rotate who sits out. It is your own fault if you can't manage > 8 man situations properly to the current situation. Then your 'friends' are all to greedy to sit out one week every 8 weeks. If your only solution is to cry you gonna have a bad time.

    Agree with OP, if they just want to stop ppl gearing too fast, do a system to only allow looting when you win the turn the 1st time during the week, so they people can play with each other more

    First when I was reading this thread I thought it was a joke and I started laughing, but then it quickly turned to tears when I found out you are serious. Are you for real you entitled lalafel?! FFXIV is already a socialist uptopia where everybody can get everything, can you please leave some content for us hardcore progress raiders? so we actually have something to look forward to. Stop complaining and embrace the gods of RNG!

    I agree with OP here. I have just returned from my slumber and am actually alittle sad that we still have progress based on RNG... :/ It took me several months getting my first coil drop in 2.0-2.1 because RNG messed with me. I play a game, not a lottery :/ If I wanted to play a lottery I would go and play a lottery. Sorry, but I dislike that RNG partly decide how fast you will progress. Also that it makes so one can not run with several groups for helping purposes makes me alittle annoyed.

    No, RNG will not stop your progress, it just easens your progress. Your skill is stopping your progress. You have the iLvl 100 weathered stuff and 3* meldable ilvl90. Heck, look at BG's gear and they downed T9 with it, without a ton of high-allagan pieces but a ton of pentamelds.
