Hrm, looks like it's true that Skill Speed is kind of hard to avoid this time around. Either way, I think that the first set is the better way to go; less wasted accuracy there, provided that the T9 cap is just under 500.

Why not swap around the gloam boots for the high allagan boots? Since they lose the determination, and we do not know if SE will fix it or not...

This set-up is mediocre. And it's not BiS at all. Have you even tested a DET build vs CRIT build? I don't think so, judging by your reasoning "I prefer to go CRIT". Prefer it all you want, but the difference between that build and this one http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/LRGE is HUGE.

For your question about T5, 458 is all you need. Not more, not less. You don't believe me, go try it yourself.
