An i80 relic weapon is not gonna be useful if I can use allagan, Levi , or even exm primals weapon . So outside of vanity it is useless for many people

This really needs to be Fixed now that Atma/animus e.t.c has screwed Relic progression
myself & many others are just going upgrade 1 relic for our main only class. Some hardcore players will do 2 or more relic upgrades.
But in general most will only do 1-2 which means we need to store the other relics away somewhere & where better than the Armorie since we have to store enough crap in our retainers as it is.
Also means we are limited to 1 or 2 classes in a game which claims multipul playable classes (not at end game) & for the casual player (Also not at end game).
Based on your logic, the blue crafting tools are useless? We can store those but not moogle or ifrit weapons. Been asking to store those since 1.0.Seriously? No. The armoire is for silly event and vanity gearsets that DO simply take up space and are mostly useless. The Artifact armor is allowed in there because it basically is Vanity and useless. As soon as you hit 50 that body you JUST GOT is already out of date and useless. So it makes sense that this has a free pass. The relic is not vanity, is not silly, and is not useless. That type of gear should be held in normal inventory. This is just another thread begging to store everything in the armoire because you want more free space. Stop hoarding everything on your retainers. If you still need more space they did just offer a way to add two new retainers.
There is an NPC who sell you Relicts if you did the relict quests. This really needs to be Fixed now that Atma/animus e.t.c has screwed Relic progression

So if you need inventory space, you can sell the Zenith weapons, buy them later as Relict weapons again and upgrade them to Zenith weapons again.

I can't find it and searching for it brought up way too many posts but I vaguely remember a dev post saying the Armoire is a vestige from 1.0, including its coding, so a lot of new items won't be able to be stored unless they're related to previous events. But then they made it so items like the Master rings can be stored and I don't remember those from 1.0 but it's been a long time.
Assuming they don't come out and say they expect us to buy new retainers (which they better not), it is likely we'll get new storage options to accommodate the newer items. But it's unlikely the majority of the non-unique/non-tradable items will be able to be stored since you can use them on the Market Board. Just be careful what we wish for; you should see how many different systems are in place in FFXI to store items because of how creative they had to get to get around the memory/storage issues. NPCs, key items, vouchers, etc etc. Items all over the place.
Yes please let us put relics inside the armoir!
I have all 9 relics and only use the PLD/WHM and if i need accuracy the BRD one. (PLD and WHM are Atma/Animus atm.)
So please let me put them away!![]()
What I don't get about the armoire is that months after events happen, they add the ability to store said event items...seems like they know ahead of time what items are going to be given out in the events, so why not have the items store-able from the start instead of letting them clog up our inventory for months at a time because we wanted all 16 shades of the choco hat or samurai helmet or whatev.
