Which class has the hardest class quests?

I would say Arcanist, hands down. Most of its class quests involve Duty battles, and I can think of only a couple of them that I was able to beat on my first try. The Level 15 and 20 quests in particular are nearly impossible to do at the minimum level.

If you decide to go Summoner, beating the egis is not a cakewalk either.

I guess SE felt that exponentially elevated difficulty was a fair trade off for having a pet...

From what I've leveled so far, it's summoner for me too. I also died my first time in most of the fights, and one shot all the other class/job quests.

I think I had 3 levels of the echo for the level 50 quest lol.

I started Arcanist, and did afterwards SCH and SMN.

I was expecting other classes/ jobs to be as difficult, and what a surprises conjurer/WHM was so easy.

So far other classes didn't strike me as difficult but can not judge until the end I want to see other story arcs

Took me a good 5 tries to get the gladiator lvl 30 quest down. Also had some trouble on the last summoner quest, just glad I was ported outside the quest whenever I got my butt handled. I also recall taking 2-3 tries on the last scholar quest.

I started my character as a pugilist, so I was doing her quests on that class without cross-class skills like protect and heal. It took me until my level was being capped for the duty to defeat the first one where you fight the... er... enemy you'll be dealing with for the rest of the chain. What's that... level 10? Level 15? I forget. This was before the Echo for failed duties was introduced. It may be easier now.

So far, I walked through ARC/SMN jobs with very little effort, only one I died on so far was the level 30 ARC quest, and that was once uz I misjudged the girl healing herself, and she died <_< >_>.

For me, out of the ones I've done the higher level LNC and the later DRG quests were the only ones I had to actively try over and over again, and then eventually only beat cuz my fiance decided to protect me before I started, lol

That one was pretty annoying, until I realized I was the one derping and not using Pikatank to aggro things AWAY from facing her. After that, it was a cakewalk.

Actually, the echo has always been there for solo duties!
