Well what I meant is that all archon come from sharlayan (the real island not the city they made as an outpost) but mi filial was born in Ala mhigo, and then raised by F'lhaminn when her father died, when she discovered her power of the echo and realized she wasn't the only one with it, she made her little group which eventually grown as big as it is now, in the original story she have no connexion to any archon beside Thancred who watched over her for a few days after her daddy passed away and then investigated his death, that's all.
I do not know exactly what happened in yoshida's team story tho so I can't say but at first she doesn't.
My memory is fuzzy so I might be wrong at some point but I'm pretty sure most of it is accurate u-u
