    Idea to remedy the Atma issue.

    The idea I have for this is, we can keep the FATE thing if SE really wants to, and Put in each area a "charge bar".

    Example:

    - Beat FATE (Charges 1/50)
    - Beat FATE ( Charges to 2/50)

    After certain amount of FATEs you get a Atma "Attached" to your Zenith weapon. Do this for all the areas they have in the Zodiac Quest then bring the Weapon with the attached Atmas on it to receive the upgrade.

    That way we are guaranteed to get 1 Atma attached from so many FATEs and will free up inventory space.

    * Have to have Zenith Equipped for it to work
    * Have to be on the Job in question to get the Atma attached to said weapon.

    So its another fancy way of saying do 50 fates to obtain an Atma? No.

    They might as well as well add the 50 x 12 = 600 fates to the second part of the quest and do away with the first part completely. The rng from Atma is what differentiates it from the second part of the quest. The only thing I would change is to make the Atma have a chance to drop from any mob in a zone rather than from fates specifically. This eliminates the need for waiting for fates to spawn and the long travel time between fates.

    We need more ways to obtain the Atma. I don`t know about other servers but on my server the fate parties are becoming less frequent. They are still there but not as many as 2 weeks ago when the patch hit.

    It's a heck of a lot better than "not knowing" when you are going to get an Atma. At least everyone will have equals shots of getting an Atma after X amount of FATEs as to what we have now where 1 person can get it on 1 try and another person takes 100 tries or more.

    I think this would be a good idea, honestly. I dunno about the people saying the RNG for the Atmas is "Just Fine", but I think it's NOT "Just Fine", and is a horrible mistake. SE didn't need to employ RNG to make sure it'd take a while to get these Atmas, and I really hope they don't rely on RNG as heavily as they did in 2.2.

    And you've just hit upon why the "special snowflakes" don't want a progressive system like the one you've proposed.

    All for % to increase as you do more fates. Not having an upper cap is retarded game design.
    You can cap the increase at say...25% to leave some RNG in there but at least that is more tolerable than 1%...

    Any RNG at 1% should die in a fire and be buried and forgotten.

    I mean If you do say 300 FATES ( 25 FATEs per Atma) in total to get all 12 Atma, that's STILL a lengthy process for both hardcore and casuals.

    I hate FATEs as the next person, but I rather know how many FATEs I need to do to be done with it.

    Edit: if your a get all Atma Weapons kind of person, that's 2,700 FATES @.@.

    make it 500 fates per map to fill one bar and we are talking. Besides, there is no atma issue, there is just the relic upgrade system that works perfectly.
