Ps4 or not

I use my PS4 to clear daily quests and harvest when I just want to lounge. The graphics are almost as good as my PC with a decent framerate. Sometimes I plug a KB/Mouse in and use the PS4 exclusively to save power. I would say its worth it.

despite the obvious lag and latency issues this game has / had does it seem to be easier to dodge stuff using the ps4 over ps3? .. one of my down falls with the ps3 id move and still get hit

From PS3 to PS4, as many have mentioned, it is an enormous jump in performance. From a absurd 720P resolution, to 1080P and from below 30 FPS to a solid 60 FPS (In most cases; you'll still dive down to 40 or so in some cases and 30 in crowded areas).
Is it worth it? If you're more into the "console" experience, you shouldn't even be asking this question. Just go for it, Lol.

From PC to PS4, well, this depends.
If we're talking about a standard PC with average spec and average 1080P monitor; there is literally no difference.

But if you're talking a high end PC with a resolution higher than 1080P and a high end GPU/CPU, well... obviously the PC will decimate the PS4 in every aspect.
For instance, I run the game at over 100+ FPS with 1440P resolution and almost literally no loading times. But that's what you get out of a high end system.

Yes, very much so. I could barely/rarely dodge plumes in titan hard using the ps3, got so frustrating that I stopped playing that instance for a good while. Ps4 though I have plenty if time to get away from them. So much easier ^^

I play PS3 and whenever I'm on voice chat and someone calls out a move (that's rng not scripted), I won't see it until 2 secs later on my screen. PS3 is honestly a huge handicap. It makes fights harder than they actually are.

ahhh thank you I've got the ps4 still prob going to hit with the latency 290-300ms to us server from australia but it was just nasty with the ps3 ..
