Only problem I find myself is finding a store which have a PS4 to sell.
Sony should deliver much more PS4 to europe.
After the PS4 beta was over, playing on PS3 again for another week was torture. Trust me, the difference is so much that it will feel like you are playing a completely different game.

I agree that the game looks better and loads much faster. However in my case I sit about 16' away from the TV (55") so its difficult to see a big increase in the graphics. However I have never tried coil or exteme primals on the PS3 so the upgrade to me is basically faster load times and more characters on the screen.
i wont buy a $400 system for a single game that can run decently on ps3.
graphics arent everything, but if ur so bugged by load times and such. feel free to
toss money for it Oo i personally find lagging and dodgin fine to me lol. havent had a problem...
but my ps3 is a year old so up to u. x;
People animate at terrible frame rates on the ps3, and that is gone on the ps4. The graphics for you absolutely look better in a way that you can tell on that TV at that distance.I agree that the game looks better and loads much faster. LOL, wrong thread?Seriously? No. The armoire is for silly event and vanity gearsets that DO simply take up space and are mostly useless. The Artifact armor is allowed in there because it basically is Vanity and useless. As soon as you hit 50 that body you JUST GOT is already out of date and useless. So it makes sense that this has a free pass. The relic is not vanity, is not silly, and is not useless. That type of gear should be held in normal inventory. This is just another thread begging to store everything in the armoire because you want more free space. Stop hoarding everything on your retainers. -_-

The generation of random numbers is too important to be left to chance.
TL;DR - Better graphics for £350. ($400?)
Lag isn't down to the system usually, it's due to the servers.
The ps4 looks way better then the ps3. I also noticed the difference in loading times and just lag in general.
I'm still getting used to the change in controls. The touch pad is the new mouse, and it easier to target using it, but you can tab target just like the ps3. The touch pad is the select button. The options button is the start screen. They are in slightly different placement, so i accidently hit the touchpad instead of the start screen all the time.
You also get the full HUD layout that PC players get. I didn't realize there were so many hotbars. It's nice to not have to switch between hotbars. You can still play like the ps3 but it seems silly, especially if you are a healer or tank. We get a pet bar now instead of having to switch to the pet bar.
Those are a couple of small things. Essentially you can play the ps4 exactly like a PC if you want with little difference at all. I'm happy that I switched over. I didnt buy a ps4 just for ffxiv though.

Do it, and to reduce the cost, trade in your PS3, you won't be sorry. I play on a high end PC and on a PS4 and it's fantastic.![]()

I normally play on PC but I pre-ordered the PS4 version just for a change of pace. Looks identical and plays equally well on both. I say go for it!
