Anything that they see as a threat or something that can upset what they see as their biggest source of income (casuals) they're just going to avoid entirely.

I agree that this thread is pointless. SE's decision-making on the matter doesn't change regardless of any legitimate uses of the parser, or how effective parsers are for players.

External parsers will still exist and will still function either way.

The pure irony of this thread is that even if an in-game parser were introduced, I still wouldn't use it because current external parsers are so good.
