Why wrong???? Cheat discovered from log--->permaban...I don't see where is the wrong part? Here's the thing. There is literally no way you can implement a system that will prevent botting. It cannot happen. Cheating has existed in all games since the beginning of time. Unless developers come up with some sort of technology to literally watch you while you play and kick your ass if you cheat, which would be creepy and wrong, I doubt it'll ever go away.
Actually, even that wouldn't work. Hundreds of years ago, if you committed a crime, even a simple or trivial one, you'd find yourself being tortured to death. Hung upside down naked in front of a crowd of a hundred while two guys cut you from your groin to your brain with a rusty ripsaw. Guess what? People still committed crimes. Fear doesn't stop people, even if their life is on the line. This is a game.
It's not going away.
Prevent botting all the tiem is impossible ok...but at least a punishment can be correct...
There are 10 botter? 2-3 banned is better than 0....

There have been people banned for botting. It's about what you just said, 2 for every 10. They don't allow it.
The problem is it is incredibly hard to detect. There is no log that says a person has been botting. They have to watch a person for a long time.
The smart botters craft in Ul'dah or something, not in some remote area where it's obvious the person is botting if no one is around and you message them and they don't respond. In Ul'dah if someone is botting they blend in, and you can't really tell if they're botting or not just from messaging them because half the time non-botters don't respond either. Usually when I craft I'm reading or watching a movie or something on another screen so I don't pay attention to the screen except for selecting my recipe.
