Again I reiterate if someone did something malicious I would probably not defend them. A lot of "crimes" these days aren't all that malicious.

Basically you're going as far as to report a friend who is cheating in a video game. That's low.

Prepare to also call the police on your friends who download or view bootlegged programs and movies. That's illegal.

Prepare to call the police on your friends who view lolicon, that's illegal in a lot of places.

Hell why don't you call the police on someone for insulting someone else online. Or perhaps saving a picture to their computer. Or photocopying a library textbook page for a school report.
