Im still wondering in which country you live... Just a hint.. Rapidshare, Megaupload and all others are just giving out Space to Upload and Download Stuff. You should read their agreements... on ALL of those Sites they say that it IS illegal to download copyright'd Stuff.

Becouse it is a generalized advertisment..but in italy is not illegal (file sharing too is not illegal) only selling or building money on other's work...

Provider try to control p2p traffic with a sort of filter that cut your line on p2p..but there isn't a law that talk about piracy crime....(not now)

Friends in an MMO are easier to replace than an MMO itself. This is an MMO, not real life. People on the internet are very easily replaced and forgotten about.

I don't do sympathy, especially if the punishment is deserved.

But, on topic, I'm not going to be one to pass judgement on who is botting and who isn't. I'll leave that up to SE to do. Hopefully all those who are botting or have botted will be banned justly.

to OP: i have 6 50 crafts and im not a bot
granted, i do agree ALOT of people with alot of crafting levels do bot(thats not all they bot either, they bot their gathering and combat too)


in my case though, i do have a social life(as much of one that im allowed to have given that im a single father who actualy does my job raising my child) and a girlfriend, and a job, i just play a whole damn lot whenever i am home cuz i cant actualy get out and go anywhere while raising the kid

and some people apperently think im a program developed by the cia


but in all honesty the problem isnt just with crafters, alot of people are botting everything in the game if they bot at all, you would be surprised how many gather botters i have seen lately, and they are pretty obvious too(ever see them glitch out and run up to nodes, and sit there running their script while the node isnt there, its rather funny)

Have yet to encounter an MMO without a ton of bots.

also id like to point this out as a pure FACT

every game has this issue, its not the game that causes the issue, its the fact that it is a game, and someone wants to find a way to make it easier/cheat, so they use/make bots

its not the games, but the nature of the people who play them
