Feature Request: Comments in Friend List

PROBLEM: Once a player gets enough friends on his or her friend list, it's impossible to keep track of who's who or why they were added in the first place. Remembering becomes even more difficult when players routinely change classes, which I find to be the real problem unique to FFXIV with the class changing system.

SOLUTION: Add a comments field to the friend list.

The comments could be added and edited through the FL window after a player is added to it. Character limits could be an issue risking making the window too large, but truncating the comments to a set length then popping up the full comment upon hovering over with the cursor could get around that.

I'm certain every player with more than 10 friends will find adding a comments field to be invaluable. Chime in if you agree!

I'd be happy if this was something saved locally and just appeared below the Search Comment field. This way they don't have to adjust the entire Social pane at all.

i 100% agree here. i have deleted a few people or so in the past. people i forget where we met or whatever.

I totally agree with having comments on the friend list, and just like Dotsusama mentionned, having the comments saved locally would be best I believe.

There is no need to store personal comments on the server and we already get too much "server stress/bandwidth issue" excuses from the devs.

Hopefully we'll get to see that happen sometime soon. ^^
