anything else i need to open since those are directly off my router settings? i still have issues and i even opened both tcp and udp after the original setup didn't help any.

looks like you saved me waiting an entire day for one patch =). Thank you internet person =DIts quite obvious by now that SE won't be fixing their patcher anytime soon if ever, considering we've been complaining about it since CB. Just DL the patch via .torrent, which is provided by SE with each new patch and you'll have it and be updated inside 30min, if that! {depending on your connection, but it won't take 10+ hrs}
I wrote this guide last week for a new player having trouble with the patcher...
