Same problem here with the PS4 version. Yesterday I wasn't able to login and after a little research on the web I change the "MTU" value via the internet settings on the PS4; set the value to 1300 (the default value is 1500). Go to "Network" > "Set Up Internet Connection" > "Wifi" or "LAN" > "Custom" > Select your network and, put your password etc. Leave everything as it is, just change the MTU to 1300 and save.
That helps me yesterday but today it didn't work![]()
just bought game for ps4 thinking it was a nice change to the junk Sony has been releasing on this new system i waisted my time on. 3 days after i buy it error 2002 or lost connection to lobby. my internet is 50mbps so i know its not my end. hopefully it gets fixed soon this is ridiculous. pay 40$ and 15$ a month for a game i cant even play

I'm having the same problem. I have been dealing with it since like maybe 830 this morning and it hasn't changed since. I'm getting kind of pissed about it since I can't play and I'm paying for the game.I didn't have a problem up till today. Now all I get is lobby server problems and cannot connect to server problems. Something needs to be done and soon.

It is not PS4 issue ... the issue is global I am a PC user and am gettign the 2002 error so i did some digging got the ip for the lobby server and did some tracing and i am seeing 25 percent packet loss 7 hops out from SE on routers run by Congent Communications growing to 50 percent Data is not getting to te servers because of a problem with a router ouside of the lobby and data server areas

It looks like the issue is beginning to get worse. I have not been able to play for a week now and none of the maintenances to address server/network issues have helped at all. As I previously posted, for me, it started when I switched over from PS3 to PS4. At the time, my PS3 version was working fine, but now it seems this issue is starting to affect everyone.

Just starting getting this issue with the newest patch. I only play on PS4 but I am not having network issues on any other device. Game is practically unplayable at this point. Any news on this?
the cause of the drop outs/90k is cogentco seeing as they have from anywhere 15%-60% packet loss on there hops. the issue isnt with servers but its been with cogentco network which u would see if u use winmtr to tracert to server and leave it on for couple hrs it will show u the packetloss so u can easily see problem. issue only effects na/eu servers because of being routed through the bad path/ bad hop which cogentco has

So, I have not been able to play in over 2 weeks. This is getting a little ridiculous. I am paying a monthly fee and have not been able to play for over half a month after this "upgrade" to the PS4 version. Everything was working fine when I was playing on my PS3 and now I cannot play on either because of how SE has chosen to handle the migration. At this point, I would love to just downgrade back to the PS3 version if I could. At least then I could still play. Come on SE, at least give us a response.
