I'm so angry at Konami, all I want to do is play the second stage of Contra but they make me clear the first stage first! My life is impossible torture.

Uh... are you trying to troll or are you proposing a strawman argument.

Contra doesn't ask for a 15 dollar sub that promises access to the game content that gets released. Stage 1-5 of Bahamuts coil is like a game onto itself so it would be more accurate to say you couldn't play Megaman X5 without beating Megaman X4.
