    yes, it is. it's better to want someone to finish a story and progress through the earlier story before they continue going forward. that is the whole point in adding the echo buff to 1-5 was to allow the people that haven't completed(the already nerfed content) to complete the previous content and story and then advance when they have done so. the echo buff to primals and the first turn of coil was done to allow those players to catch up while giving those already there the content at a much higher difficulty than it will have to be for those other players to have a chance against. i could see the complaints now of the people that haven't beaten titan or twin getting stuck in turn 6. would be a bloodbath and constant crying.

    doing content this way gives the hardcore people a challenge on newly released content while making the previous content easier so the ones that couldn't beat it originally a chance to beat it. the way they are doing it in stages of nerfs and echo buff allows each tier of player a chance to beat the content when it is difficult for their group. this keeps it from going way too hard to way too easy to them and they get to win while facing a challenge.

    people complaining they aren't good enough to beat turn 5, but yet wants to try turn 6. until you beat turn 5 you don't deserve to try t6.

    If you can't complete turn 5 I doubt you'll have the ability to complete turn 6 anyway.

    Why do you want to do turn 6 anyway? So you can lament it is too hard and they should nerf it too?

    Turns are a tory in themselves, bit illogical to skip part of the story and go on with it no? CT couldnt be done without doing story but cause story was easy noone cared.

    Read....almost half this thread, so sorry if we've resolved this situation...

    Why are people complaining about content which is locked behind content they have not yet completed? You still have content to complete. You're going to fall behind everyone else? These are the same people you failed to keep up with previously, I'm sorry but you are not at that level. SE will unlock it eventually with the echo buff. (And no; lock outs are not a viable answer anymore as you could easily have multiple i90s and an i92)

    also T1-T5 is part of the binding coil story... I think logic should state you just dont skip part of the story just because an expansion to it is released.

    I kind of agree - You might not be ready for T6 if you can't handle T5, with or without the echo buff. T6 is a rather intense fight, requiring good coordination of a party to be able to clear. T7, I haven't cleared yet but we've gotten to 50% - it feels like it's getting more and more intense with the coordination and timing (DPS checks everywhere!)

    And honestly, people have way more advantages over those of us who cleared T5 pre-nerfs. Just like we had advantages over those who cleared it before 2.1 and before still those who beat it before Square Enix 'changed' Twister mechanics.

    They'll keep making the fight easier and easier until people can clear it. But right now, it's fine the way it is - They're gating it, but they've made it rediculously easy to pass once you know what you're doing.

    Colt if you had put the same effort into clearing T5 as you do complaining about T6 lockouts you would've cleared T5 3 weeks ago

    No, not going into this. 15 minutes can clear coil turn 5?

    Ultimately progression does not lay on the shoulders of individual players in themepark MMOs: It relies on a group of players, of which if any are not capable the entire group suffers. Also, this thread never was intended to be a complaint specifically about coil lock outs: the community kind of turned it into that, because apparently it is an affront to nature to bring up the subject at all on this board. It was a comment on the general complaints piling up from a lot of issues and that something seems terribly wrong with the design direction the patch took.

    Also, I can clear turn 5. Complaining about something doesn't immediately imply a lack of ability. Even if some people seem to think it does.
