Anyone found a fix for windowed screen tearing?

    As the Title says,

I get no tearing in fullscreen, just windowed.

No, it's not Vsync because that doesn't work in windowed mode.

There actually should be vsync in windowed mode by default if aero is enabled.

In by that it would be turned off by having Visual Effects off. Correct? Because i tried that. Still with the same tearing results.

In FFXIV settings, i've disabled visual themes and desktop composition. Would that turn off Aero's vsync?

As soon as your aero effect goes away, you lose the functionality for windowed mode vsync.

I run a 60Hz LCD. My FPS bounces anywhere from 55-60 in open areas to around 30-35 in uldah. With Vsync forced off there seems to be less tearing. I tested Force on Vsync and then with Triple buffer(Nvidia settings). Both seem to result in larger, more visible tearing.
