Mouse over

So I'm getting ps4 edition Monday. I use ps3 but controller. I'd kind of like to use keyboard but unsure how to mouse over, when I click half the time it grabs the icon. Is /mo macro needed for every action you'd like to mouse click and how should it look? Do you just leave the mouse over icon or do you still click? Ty

You mouse over the thing you want the action to work on, and then hit the keybind for that action. For example, if I want to cure someone with /ac Cure <mo>, I mouse over their frame in the party list and hit 4 (my keybind for that macro). Could also mouse over their 3D character model or the nameplate/health bar over their head if you can catch them in time.
