Duty Finder and troublesome players

Was wondering is it possible to play without having to do the dungeons/duty finder?

The entire story is predicated on running dungeons so you can't avoid them if you wish to follow the story. It's also really the only way to get higher level gear and endgame gear outside of a few crafted items. You'll either have to find people that are cool that you enjoy playing with (try out a few Free Companies) or possibly switch to a class you find less stressful. Tanks and healers tend to take the brunt of the abuse after wipes from random people whether it's deserved or not.

Hi, if someone does not answer to a greeting I'll probably think he does not speak English, or he is angry, or is in PS3. Not answering a direct question is more problematic, depending on the question, we might be planning a strategy or trying to solve a problem.

Also keep in mind people are getting used to TeamSpeak, Ventrillo, Mumble, etc. Typing on a keyboard has getting a very heavy task for majority of gamers. Therefore saying Hi seems pretty useless for those.
If they don't answer, it's most likely they agree with you (specially if they start jumping). Or they are bots, lol.

In either cases, we can't do a thing about it, gotta deal with it and make the best out of it!

At least in European servers, most people are not English native speakers and may make unwanted unpolite sentences. Foreigners have a bad time understanding sms short typing and emotes too (cya, gg, kk, gj, etc.) You finally understand it or guess, but not always and not at first try. Typing as you play means you don't have time to make full correct sentences many times, so they may be interpreted as rude.

I meant using bad language like ????, flaming and insulting. Short typing has been around for at least a decade and i haven't seen anyone being upset over it - sometimes people just ask what "afk", "wc" and etc means.

I never had any problem with players, except this morning when there were only three instead of four because the other tank withdraw the duty. But yeah, typing on PS3/PS4 is a hassle. Don't know if they're going to allow voice chat to minimize the problem.
