    Service Account...

    All I want to do is play on my PS4. I have had this game since 1.0 on PC. I downloaded the client on PS4 during beta phase 2. My service account from PC was already active prior to that. Played in Beta phase 2 no problem. First, I really do not understand why I should have to purchase the game just to play on PS4. I suppose not gouging your customers would be a good place to start. Especially the ones that have subscribed to final fantasy 11 for over 10 years. Second, why do I have to log in to a different account to do anything in your service. Mog station, Playonline, Account Management, Forums, Lodestone, and all the other wastes of time, and onetime passwords I have to input. Third, I did "preorder" your game for PS4, even though I already own a service account. But for some reason the game doesn't recognize the account when I try to play on PS4. I have no problems logging into my account on my PC. I have registered both codes that Best Buy has sent me. They were only 12 digit codes as compared to the 20-25 digit codes that mogstation requires. So these codes cannot be input into your system. I applied them both to my sony network account. Said everything is ready, early access starts April 11th. Well one would think after going through all of this just to play a game, would allow me to actually play the game... Nope. Still says I need an active service account on my PS4 when I try to log in. After logging into the forums to post this rant, I have had to get my phone out 13 times to get a one time password to log in to all the different webpages you have. Yet not one of these sites has given me the information I need to finally play on my PS4. Not one reply made to my ticket. I really think I am just ready to finally wash my hands of this company. I have been a dedicated fanboy for the better part of 2 decades. Played and conquered every final fantasy ever released. I should have let this game go the first time it was released unfinished. But no I gave it a second chance. And now look at me, wasting hours trying to play a game that I had to purchase twice, and still haven't been able to do so 24 hours after the open of early access.. Even though PC and PS3 have been accessing for months now... Yeah I should have been able to just download the client to my PS4, logged into my existing account and played. Without having to do anything aside from linking my PS4 to my Mogstation, or account management, or lodestone, whatever the hell one actually handles the subscription to the game.

    I agree. Just one log in please. Mog station? Lode whatever? Nonsense. This is how the Japanese do it I guess. Bad customer service.

    The 12 digit code is for registering to download at the Playstation store. You should get prompted to either link to an existing SE account or create a new one--click that you have one and then provide the sign-on credentials. Then you link the SEN/SE AM accounts and you should be up and running. The process looked very similar to what I went through when I installed it again on my laptop after playing Beta4 on the PC.
