does anyone use WTFast?

I had to use WTFast because Verizon Fios throttles its connections with SE's servers somehow. I forgot the exact explanation for it but I've heard of plenty of other people having similar problems with Verizon Fios.

Any ninja that doesn't use WTFast is doing it wrong or plays on a PS3/4.

Not only does it help with Mudras and dodging but it also improves your DPS conciderably, you may think due to the skill queue it doesn't really do all that much, but only now I realize that you could never compare the parses of US and Japanese players with EU ones, because they got the better connection which automaticly leads to better DPS, EU servers can't come soon enough.

i used to use it but i didnt really notice any difference at all for me but ive never really had latency problems to begin with so that could be it

So I've tested it with the Basic version and while a have basically no improvement at daytime (120 ping from Europe) it vastly improves at the later hours. My ping goes up to 200 or more with crazy lag spikes after 6pm which is probably related to my ISP. Dodging stuff is nearly impossible that way. WTFast brings that down to 150 again which makes it playable.

I used to use it back when Titan Extreme was kinda newish content. I used to get awful lag back then and couldn't dodge him for my life. With WTFast up he was so much easier. I only used it while it was free though, I can't personally afford to pay a sub for that as well as the game. Lucky for me my connection seems much better these days and I don't seem to lag anymore other than the odd spike when everyone else gets it too. If you struggle with dodging Titan etc deffo give the free trial a go.

Those who did not want to pay anything for these, WTFast's newest update just changed their free 30 day trial to unlimited free. Still works as well as it did when it was 30 days, no autodisconnects or anything, paid is just even faster.

I couldn't either, it was in the patch notes when it told me there's an update for it and saw it is indeed true.

You were able to have an unlimited free trial before the update. You could extend your free-trial every 14 days via a share through facebook (which I do, hehehe).

But yeah, all Europeans MUST use a VPN or a service like WTFast/Pingzapper to play this game properly. I've even noticed DPS increases using WTFast, in conjunction with Lagarith Latency Fix.

I have a 50-60% improvement in latency reduction with WTFast from 180ms to 100-110. I wouldn't play the game without it. This is with the basic model (free)



Sometimes it says "no connection improvement" (it does this randomly and then shows numbers every now and then) but as you can see from the stats, the improvement is there. I have to check that warning though. My settings should be ok, i think. If i can get sub 100ms with paid sub, i might consider.

i just found out about this today im getting 40-56% improvement on my ping it makes playing ninja actually fun! its like a whole new game!
