Rather than being of the mindset that you need to use this service to get SE's product to work, think of it more as you are using this service to make your own product compatible with the product SE is offering.

That is also true, but it still is not an ideal situation to be in just to use the product normally. I would understand more if there was Geo-locking in place and I had to use a VPN to set an exit point in the US in order to access the game, but this is not the case.

Being from Australia and reading this actually makes me want to shake my head, then maybe do something untoward to SE. But mainly shake my head. I'm locked into a NA server as I'm committed to running my FC on Adamantoise, and I'm currently getting lag spikes that are bricking the game for me while I'm trying to do simple things like craft.
I am usually a very big advocate for not using anything that other systems can't use (i.e. anything that a PS player can't use, PC shouldn't use either) to keep things level and stop the inherent attitudes that come with it. But when a program actually lets me play the game and not worry about whether or not I (and/or others) are still going to be alive when my system processes the micro-stroke that is the incoming data during a fight, I'm going to start saying to people to use it.

I have used the premium. I used it for three months. For the first couple of months, I could not see the Internet vs WTFast comparison. I think it was due to the modem/router I was using. I have since switched to a modem + router combo and I can see the comparison. The connection was hit or miss "better." At some points it was worse. The funny part? My wife and I both play. She doesn't use WTFast and we both rubber band at the same time. That leads me to believe the server is at fault there. I live in Ohio.

I don't know, WTFast your mileage may vary. There's been more than a few horror stories about using the service, and worse ones about trying to get rid of it. It's been enough to keep me away from it, not that it'd be of any benefit to me given I play on a console (and for good reason).

I wish something like this existed for PS4 users![]()

This is a bit late but I have been using WTFast for around half a year now I'm from Europe Finland specific and I can't login to the game without it any more it really does make a difference all my skills are executed a lot faster there isn't that weird latency lag when using skills in fast succession the program shows that I would normally have around 160 ping but with the program ( I use the premium one) it drops to around 125 ping it might not seem much but I can definitely feel it I will be using this program until they bring the official European datacenter at the end of this year

Tunneling software is different from the parser though. It doesn't involve itself with the game, but only your connection routing.
I'm using pingzapper any1 here can make a comparison?
